I’m not 100% Hillary, but I’m watching her concession speech and I’m sobbing.

She did have faults, but she deserved the presidency. Having 30+ years of political experience, working so hard on her campaign, and being a brilliant speaker led to her losing to a racist, homophobic, misogynistic tangerine. Who won because its now proved that hate and fear are stronger than love. 

I’m trying to have hope and stay positive though :/

okay so I was pretty young in 2008 and I don’t remember much from that election. Were people just as nervous as today? I’m hoping all elections are this risky, but I really really doubt it. I’m just so bummed out right now.
