Thinking abt 2017 it Eddie Kaspbrak, how his mother wanted him to stay under her wing. How his mother wanted Eddie to be a certain way and stay as her baby. How she wanted him to take all these placebo medication and believe that he was really sick and couldn’t do anything.
Thinking bout how Both Stan and Eddie are still able to to the things their parents don’t want them to. Their friends don’t limit them in what they can and can’t do. They build each other. They listen to one another and respect each other. One one is belittle into something else.
Thinking bout how Eddie and Stan go past their parent’s expectations and do their own thing. They stand up to each adult and disagree with them. I love these characters with my heart. They stand up for themselves and have a moment of confidence.
