There was absolutely nothing wrong with showing up at someone’s house with your entire family. What was he going to do, leave them? When they talked about how much they wanted to play with Fionna? Many of the newborns were bigger now so it felt safer letting them leave, and many of the elders wanted to show their thanks. Delphos, on the other hand, had a much more embarrassing reason for visiting. Still, he was hardly unhappy for the opportunity the accident afforded him. Gumball was helpful. In the time after they’d met, he’d not only taught Delphos more useful phrases, he’d acquainted him with a few very smart members of the Candy Kingdom that helped him practice. Some seemed a little frightened of him at first, but he didn’t mind. Gumball was a very busy person—he couldn’t imagine what that was like, or why it was necessary. But…he felt like he could still relate to Gumball, who was just looking out for his family. They just did it in a different kind of way. The pride moved swiftly. There’d been a necessary stop at the Candy Kingdom to pick up a gift he and CandyCorn Cat had discussed, because he wasn’t going to ask Cake a favor without at least offering something in return. Delphos was of course careful of the trail they left behind, but…he’d be lying if their travel hadn’t been a shock to some. Thankfully, ‘Sorry’ was something they understood. He just wasn’t really expecting them to run away after he said it. So he said it again just in case, and moved on. When they arrived, Delphos was suddenly hit by fond nostalgia. If it weren’t for Cake and Fionna, he and the cubs probably wouldn’t be here...he’s happy for the chance to finally pay them back. Dismounting, Delphos sets a giant bag of marshmallows on the ground and cautiously approaches—doors were for knocking. So he does, and proudly manages to only burn a slight dent into the wood. Moments pass, with no answer. Minutes now. He’s too afraid to knock again. Biting his lip with dismay, he propels to a window and tries to peek inside. Oh no.
Nothing had prepared him for this. Delphos looks down towards Saucer, the eldest, but Saucer has already curled up for a nap. Many of the others were following suit. He descends again, thinking hard. In the end, all they could do was wait. So, Delphos finds a good spot and begins setting up a small camp—just as he’d been instructed. Cut down trees, carefully and quickly bring them back, make them smaller…not too complicated. When the log pile was sufficiently large enough (perhaps too large, he was a bit self-conscious), Delphos wakes Yarn up and sets her on the first palette of wood. She settles in, and slowly begins chowing down. Now comfortable, she starts emitting a brilliant shade of blue that was rare among them. He hopes Cake won’t be too mad that his shirt was ruined. He hoped they’d both like the gift.
“.... Huh.”
A little unusual but she had expected that much. It was a familiar experience to be pulled away from a place she liked to call home, and she knew just how to adjust to new grounds. Only problem was that she had no idea where she was as she was no where close to civilization. Far as she could see considering she couldn’t see due to all of this mist. Walking further on, the woman would see a place hidden in this mist.
“A house hidden in such a weird fog? Not suspicious at all ~” she chimed with a smile coming along. Something so odd, and she walked over to it without a single concern. Approaching the door and giving a knock before stepping on in anyways, the woman had answers to seek. She had answers to find, but she was also rather bored. Maybe she could have some fun here.
“Heeello ~ Anyone here?”

Cloud had come back to the Church, mostly to check on the Buster sword. it had rained last night, and sometimes the wind blew the rain into the blade. He wanted to take care of it, from now on; and it was easier to check it for hints of rust now than clean the whole blade up. Which he’d had to do once, not too long ago; he didn’t really want to do that again.
He paced slowly around the pool of water, where the bed of flowers used to be. Really, he’d rather have the flowers. Not that he was likely to admit it - if nothing else, he’d come back (to life?) in that pool - but the flowers were, well, prettier. And they served as a better reminder of his past.
He checked the entire blade over, just in case, but everything looked fine. Really, if he was going to be honest with himself, he wasn’t here for the sword. He just wanted to have a reason to be, well, here. He had a lot of memories here, most of them good.
Maybe he should get around to repairing the church, at some point; it was till a bit of a mess. The were bits and pieces of wood all over the floor, from the pews. Most of the flowers, petals, and stone dust had been blown away by the wind; but there were still several pillars on the ground, and at least one or two of the ones still standing were badly damaged. it was amazing the place still stood at all, especially the roof.
“Jotaro? Jotaro!” The old man had just lost his Grandson again, in this god forsaken desert town. Why were all the buildings built the same? He hated this.
He knew using Hermit Purple to find Jotaro would be to easy, and also would draw unnecessary attention to himself, so he opted for the easier route of just shouting like a parent who’s just lost a child in a grocery store.
“Jotaro, I swear, when I find you...”

“Now I’m just a lil’ desert flower travelin’ tha’ east coast. Got some packages ta’ deliver, got some world ta’ see. Been dead more times than I could recon’.” Pretty pink lips formed a smile as she leaned into the bar. She brought a cigarette to her lips. From a dusty pocket she took out a pack of matches, that had the logo of some dinosaur themed motel on it. She struck the match and lit her cigarette, “So I don’t know much ‘bout this here Boston. I'm lookin' fer Diamond City. Can ya' point a gal in the right direction?"
@bi0w0lf 🖤’d for a starter
this is a STARTER CALL for the TAGGED GROUP VERSES only. This is open to anyone ( even if we aren’t mutuals ) a part of said group verses. I am so excited to get this started!
There is a small town in Eureka, Oregon with a big secret. It is home to the world’s most prominent scientific minds. A majority of which work at Global Dynamics ( GD ); to bring the latest science discoveries to the world. Not all is perfect in this scientific community. Government officials regularly interfere with day to day life. Secret agents from a shadowy organization threaten not only the citizens of Eureka, but the world. Not to mention the internal hazard of scientists with excessive funds and too much ambition. It isn’t an odd occurrence for a scientist’s project to get out of control; and cause chaos all over town. Positives for moving into such a whacky town? Great schools, a no-currency system ( buying things gets in the way of science after all! ), and comfortable living. Are you ready to create a brave new world ?
