Turns out the top and pants my mom gave to me last weekend were a better fit for the wrong costume. Back to the drawing board... There are a few patterns I found that could work for the pants and top but its a matter of narrowing down the choices and the look I’m going for since I know it won’t be 100% exact to the screen version. (As I’m not working on the same scale, talent, and level as the SWTFA team.)

On a positive note, I purchased my boots for Rey – turns out they were the same boot they used in the film.

So I was volunteering at the hospital today and got yelled at by some visitor because HE didn't know the information of the person he was visiting. I get up at 8am each Sunday morning to help people in the community, not to be yelled at for something I don't have control over. And to be honest, it's the worst feeling in the world to be yelled at by a person using derogatory language towards you. You know that thing "don't be rude to waiters and waitresses or employees in general" I think that applies to volunteers too.
