i pet a cat on my way to my friend's house today and it rolled all over the grass and then me, it made me wonder: do horses do this to owners they love? do horses feel the need to roll around in the dirt when happy or is this just a cat and dog thing????

horses do like to roll around in the dirt, yeah! though its not so much a “im happy to see you!! i love you!!” type thing and more of a “boy rolling in the dirt sure is fun!!!” type thing

though if they really, REALLY trust you and are very relaxed around you they might lie down around you (thats a Really trusting horse though)
