What do you all think about nonbinary!Lucifer and nonbinary!Darkness?
Think about archangels being able to subconsciously shift their physical appearance, though. I'm mostly thinking about agender/nonbinary Lucifer, of course. Maybe one day Luce is lounging around the motel room doing some research in old books filled with some languages that are practically impossible to decrypt, looking exactly like Nick in a physical sense. The men's t-shirt & jeans or pajamas remain. Then some days there's a slight shift in the way this vessel's curves and muscles and bone structure all work. Mammary-gland-like masses are subtle but existent on Lucifer's chest and the vessel's weight is carried differently. Sometimes there are in-between days where there's really no telling what Lucifer's vessel is trying to be...it kind of does all of this on its own—trying to accommodate the being inhabiting it. No one really bothers getting confused over it anymore.
