hi there, this may be a heavy question so feel free not to answer it but you seem like such a nice person and i wanted to ask for advice.. how do you accept that some people will never accept or understand you no matter what you do? im also not cis; im nonbinary and every time i see someone online stubbornly insisting people like us don't exist i just get really down..
aww. hi anon, i hope youre okay. this question..i understand. i understand well. thank you for trusting me to reply <3
im not cis either!
i myself am a trans masculine nonbinary person. i use he/him, they/them, and dae/daem.
i understand getting down. feeling disgusting, unreal, or fake.
to this day i sometimes struggle to accept that some people just..
Do Not Get It. but thats okay.
take a few deep breaths okay? this is a safe place. i promise you.
i may struggle as well, but i also remember the most important thing.
this is my life. this is my life chapter. some people can like me, love me, or hate me.
there is no need to focus on the hatred when the acceptance, love, etc can impact me just as much.
if you see negativity or nonbinary hate, leave that place.
dont stay, dont let your brain sink in that.
nonbinary exists. nonbinary will continue to exist.
you are real, and your life matters.
this is your life chapter, anon. you have the ability to control it
and its going to be hard, but never impossible
i want you to do a little course lesson for me okay?
completely move your focus out of this world, and have a conversation with yourself in your mind. make it about this situation.
let yourself say ''am i valid?'' but complete the sentence another way.
''am i valid?'' - ''actually yes, i am. i exist and i won't back down. i am a person, and i matter. so yes. i am valid.''
finish your thoughts a different way <3
if you ever need anything, pls come back okay ?
