Me at fourteen, struggling with the concept of gender and my place in it: What if I projected my issues onto this minor character from Supernatural for no other reason than I thought they were cool and made up a whole universe in my head where Michael was actually a girl but only in the loosest sense of the word to deal with my feelings of disconnection from womanhood.
