lightbulb going from "you got it girl!" to "i like gems as much as the next guy...or girl....or neither" is literally the best thing in the world to me. the way the episode that preceded it showed the concept of being nonbinary - not a third gender, but c. neither - was spectacular. i honestly haven't seen representation like this on anything else, and for this silly object show to bring me to tears with not only that but just how wonderfully the characters are developed and how relatable they are? it's great. i love this show so much and i can't wait to watch s3!!
