Here's a thing I hammered out for a writing exercise!

Original idea from @jen-iii like... years ago I think. But it's a Miraculous Ladybug AU for Rupphire where Ruby is Ladybug and Sapph is Chat Noir (though she doesn't make an appearance here).

So here's my take on at least the beginning of what is essentially their Origins episodes from Ruby's perspective?? I'm probably going to do a companion piece or two eventually, but no promises on how long that might take.

Rupphire Western AU? Yeah, We’re Going There

Ever wondered about Sapphire as an outlaw and Ruby as a sheriff? No? Wanna read it anyway? Because I basically took an idea that @jcstitches had been working on, started asking too many questions about relationship semantics, and ended up doing another thing to supplement/act as a sequel to a project she has in the works.

This is part one of a three-part ficlet

Title: Realignment in Scarlet

Summary:  Sapphire agreed to take her chances with Ruby, leaving her corrupted former life behind at the beginning of a long and dusty trail. It's been six months since then. A lot has changed, and altering the path of fate is much harder than it sounds.

Rating: NC-17 for that one scene, and also some darker implications sprinkled throughout

Word Count: Currently at 10,000
