Sometimes it feels like it will be decades before cis people (INCLUDING cis lgbq+ people- you are not fucking exempt) will stop viewing nonbinary people as ambiguous girls. Even when we sit here and say nonbinary without giving any other information, cis people revert to she/her EVERY time. I don’t care how accepting you think you are- if you refuse to do this deconstruction work you are being transphobic and you are contributing to a transphobic society that refuses change.
