How can you get your AO3 around? I’m having trouble finding people to read my newest fic
I get that pain big time and oddly enough my writing has literally only just picked up around here. I was actually checking this the other day and last year I had coda fics that received literally no notes whereas this year every one gets at least a few.
If you’re aiming for more attention on tumblr with your writing I think using popular tags helps some fics gain attention. I also found reblogging for different time zones helps - especially if you’re in the southern hemisphere as I am.
Putting links to your Ao3 in your bio here could help and maybe when you post a story on Ao3 make a post here with links to the story. Some people only post the intro here with links to the rest of the story on Ao3 so that may also attract more attention to your Ao3 account.
I hope this helps! And don’t worry - sometimes it takes time for stories to gain interest and sometimes it just depends on timing. One of the reasons I write coda fic - not just because inspiration strikes but also its popular at the time and more people may check out my other fics.
