For the past 3+ years, I dated a wonderful human name Zo. I guess that’s why I haven’t been on tumblr as much! We met on OkCupid in 2015 and got together in 2016. From the start, they were my safe space and truly the most open, loving partner I could have asked for.
With them being half Cuban/Bolivian and with me being half Thai/Lao, we both got to share our cross cultures and families together. I’m grateful to have learn so much from them, especially about relationships and the importance of mental health. I loved we got to share many experiences together. From going to fun stuff like Harry Potter World to dealing with scary stuff like getting surgeries, we’ve always been supportive of each other.
With Zo having moved back down to LA back in June, our time together as a cute interracial queer non-binary couple has come to a close. I’m happy we met each other to always affirm each others gender identity, sexuality, and self.
I'm forever grateful for having them in my life and we had many beautiful experiences we shared together as a team.
As a last photoshoot in June 2019 we went to one of our favorite spots in San Francisco. I guess I wanted to share the love we had and our story on tumblr. It’s possible to have a healthy wonderful relationship and it end on a positive note. We are still best friends and will absolutely love each other forever.
