Sadly, a very common thing in the trans non-binary community that is said to us by family are these statements. Your trans/non-binary child, sibling, parent, etc., have always been who they are. I know there are trans and non-binary people who do feel different on that subject. I know some people feel the gender they had to survive in for so long does die to them personally.
