{⚙️} It was just supposed to be a friendly Smash match. As the two of them were both competitors in the Super Smash Brothers Tournament, Shulk and Robin had been queued up to head to the Bridge of Eldin for their match and were to be teleported there as usual so that the match could take place.
However, something had gone wrong with the teleportation system. This was made very clear even at first glance around the new surroundings, as the Bridge of Eldin was not supposed to be covered in ice. In fact, this didn’t look like any of the sanctioned battlefields, so it wasn’t like the two fighters had been sent to a different battlefield at the last minute.
No, there was definitely something wrong here. The cheer of the crowds watching the battle was missing, instead replaced with a rather unnatural silence. The announcer’s loud voice wasn’t capable of being heard either. Where were they, even?
But at the very least, even in this eerily silent wasteland, Shulk and Robin had each other. That meant it wasn’t as bad as it could be, right?
“...Where are we?” Shulk spoke with a slightly nervous tone, his voice echoing around the frozen basin. “Can we even get back to the tournament grounds from here?” After taking a moment to look around, he turned back to his purple clad companion. “Are you okay, Robin?”
