nealexic(on)
[alt text for left flag: a rectangular flag with 7 horizontal stripes; the second and sixth stripes are twice as wide as the other stripes. the colors are, top to bottom, tarnished brass, brasso, straken green, white, straken green, flora, okra end alt text]
Nealexic(on): describes someone who is comfortable being referred to with gender-neutral language, such as one/ones, mx, folk, and monarch, or language commonly associated with non-binary or neutral people or neutrality, such as they/them, mx, quing, and enby
Flag meaning: yellow represents using gender-neutral terms, green represents using non-binary and neutral terms, white respects unity (because anyone can use neutral/non-binary/gender-neutral terms)
Nealexic(on) was coined by an anonymous Tumblr user. Our version of the flag was inspired by the nealexic(on) flag by Ap of Beyond MOGAI Pride Flags.
nonnealexic(on) / nonealexic(on) / anealexic(on)
[alt text: a rectangular flag with 7 horizontal stripes; the second and sixth stripes are twice as wide as the other stripes. the colors are, top to bottom, bluish purple anemone, baby blue, fuchsia blue, white, fuchsia blue, pinkalicious, purple plum end alt text]
Nonnealexic(on), also called nonealexic(on) and anealexic(on): describes someone who is uncomfortable being referred to with gender-neutral language and language commonly associated with non-binary or neutral people or neutrality
Flag meaning: the hues are the opposite of the nealexic(on) flag to represent not using non-binary, neutral, nor gender-neutral terms; white respects unity (because anyone can be uncomfy with neutral/non-binary/gender-neutral terms being used on them)
Nonnealexic(on) and its flag were coined by us (The A Collective). The flag was inspired by the nealexic(on) flag by Ap of Beyond MOGAI Pride Flags and our nealexic(on) flag.
