Honestly what you said about toyhouse is a mood. I'm the same I thought oo this will be great and useful then I just forget to pot anything or any of my ocs on it!

Its still awesome that you have ocs with different fav foods! I give all my ocs fav foods because it gives a lil bit of extra life to a character! Plus its fun to see what fits!

Gosh i love seeing all those fun and cool monster designs!! They are so lovely and fun and I adore the shapes and how ypu draw the weight on the different styles of anatomy each monster form has!! (I adore big monsters, like i love it when they are gruff and intimidating but they look so soft and cuddly!! Im also a lil bit a fan of body horror monsters...but my top two are werewolves and harpies, harpies that arent just basic human body with wings but like Sophie's dream from howls moving castle like monsters and giant bird body with clawed thumbs on the end of the wings. I have my own werewolf oc and harpy ocs and they just make me v happy.)

Yeah, I procrastinate HARD when I have to write information for my characters even though I LOVE sharing stuff about them with my friends.

I don't know why that's the case? Like my brain completely forgets what I had of them. And there's also the fear of not getting to every character/every version of a character.

Plus there's the fact that I don't really have a concrete story about them because I have so many AUs I've come with them!! 😭😭

Yeah, I really love those type of details because it really does bring so much out of a character and it makes them feel real.

I love to give my characters small facts, like Darnell is good at playing the trumpet, Roslyn [and also Darnell] is good at singing, Roslyn was the one that got Darnell to be affectionate because in the beginning of their relationship, he wasn't really a touching type, he was more of action, but now he loves to hug and kiss his girlfriend and being extra sappy!!

Things like that is what I get too attached to with my characters!!! 😭😭💕💕💕💕

My type of aesthetic is more of time period. Mostly things from 50s-80s. Those type of stuff are very pleasing because the style and color, they're just so fun looking and there's so much you can do with a setting that takes place there.

Like I made a Rockabilly AU about monsters vs Greasers and I had so much fun writing that with my friends and I should really get back to that.

I also love the Western aesthetic too. It's that Texan in me, I can not help it... plus you can do so much with that concept... for adding fucking monsters in it, bapy, WWWOOOOO--

that makes me want ros to be my friend!! (Ive been working on magical girl ocs because of my love for the genre, i think i might have too many wip because im planning on making a small animation as well for other stuff i like.)

That's more than fair! My little sister and brother are both on the spectrum (both have been tested for it, i haven't, my little sister stims a lot and runs around, my lil brother is more on the none verbal side unless it's something he likes, like sonic, kirby or mario kart). I know i stim as well (when the stardew valley update came out i was bouncing, clapping and waving my arms excitedly) its just lovely to see such attributes in characters.

please dont feel forced to check them out! Take as much time as you need if you want to tho! (Nausicaä has some of my fav creature designs in it honestly and there are lil apple people in stardew i needle felted some before)

Ive done the same before! i like trying a bunch of different ways to make designs its always a bunch of fun to experiment, id reccomend trying if you also like just making random designs as well!

Aww thank you!! He had always tried to flirt with her before (he was just terrible at it) so she knew he was interested. She let him know she had feeling back when she kissed him on the cheek after he comforted her after a hard day (it made him happy cry and laugh as he hugged her tightly).

Nausicaä and the valley of the wind (also known as warriors of the wind), its a very beautiful film !!

i enjoy animal crossing as well! Stardew valley is (imo) a fun and simple game, you just farm crops,look after animals and befriended/romance the townspeople, id highly recommended it (i also enjoy playing it with other people).

im sure all the players are going to heckin love that design!! (If you ever share it outside of the campaign id love to see it, i bet it looks amazing!!) I also just love making ocs for other people it makes me happy plus I love doing fun lil design challenges with friends basically everyone using the same inspiration to make thir own design to see how others interpret things differently its v fun to do, using 3 emojis for one design, a mood board, aesthetics and more. I also enjoy redesigning cartoon characters its a fun exercise!

Oh! If you are sure! The baker loves forest animals and the colour green, her baked goods normally resemble lil cute animals like mice and squirrels. Her fav colour is a deep green and she decorates with lil cute ornaments and music boxes (enesco mice music boxs are the inspo for that). She was scared and startled to see his partly transformed werewolf form near the bakery, but she saw he was shaking and just really wanted to help him, she could still recognize him and thought he was weird and a lil bit of a prick but also funny because she barely talked to him before (again how he was raised made him really shit at communicating with people) but that didn't change the fact she wanted to help. She lets him live with her as long as he helps around the house/apartment. But she also nursed him back to health and comforted him because he was in a ton of pain when transforming. She also helps him with his self confidence because he hates how he looks now (going from a pretty boy twig to big monster man). She thinks he's handsome and actually they get along well because they both love books. She warms up really fast to his personality when she realises he's actually very sweet and most of his issues was because he just didn't know how to interact with people that weren't rich. He fell in love with her from seeing her interact with other people and the rare occasions hed go into the bakery (his " friend " group didn't like the idea of him going and made sure he'd eat small and pricy things) his favourite thing to buy was a chocolate chip cookie, he find them very comforting. He thinks shes extremely pretty and sweet, his heart races whenever he sees her. In his fully transformed state if he wishes to go outside he has to wear a hoodie she made him (to accommodate his size and features). He doesn't like leaving the house much especially without her, he gets very excited when she comes home from work and he lays her on top of him if she is cold (hes very warm like a heating pad) and he likes comforting her and holding her close. He checks her ingredients for her and keeps the house clean when she's away. She is really thankful for it since she forgets easily. When they go outside together he is very protective and a lil posessive, not liking others looking at her. She doesn't mind (she finds it attractive) plus she loves going on picnics with him. With his speech being rough and not full scentances (he still thinks in them he just doesn't know how to express it in his fully tansformed state) he worries that she will get upset with him but she never does and understands him very easily. (His speech is very much like big mac from mlp). She realises she has fallen in love with him when she leans against him after he comforts her after a hard day at work. She kisses his cheek to let him know. Both of them are very easily flustered. She covers her face when she blushes and he looks away (his tail wagging like crazy unable hide how happy he is).

If you are busy you should take as much time you need and if you are upset but don't want to talk id give you time, but if you wanted to talk I'd listen, its the least anyone can do. You are human no one should expect more from you than you can give that includes yourself. Take the time you need and focus on yourself because you deserve to be the best and happiest you, you can be!

Roslyn's top favorite would be Kiki's delivery service. She would mostly watch slice of life type animes but she also loves magical girl type of genres too.

Hmmm, I don't really know much about autism so I don't think Ros would be on the spectrum. I mean she does little stims and even clap her hands when she's very excited about something but, yeah, I'm not fully in the know about it.

I wouldn't mind making some of my characters be on the spectrum, but I would have to look into first so I don't accidentally get things completely wrong and offended anyone. The last thing I want to do is bullshit and call it a day.

Im glad you think so!! It really shows in cartoon redesigns ive done and a few cute lil creatures (strawberry shortcake, moon dreamers, carebears, a love bug and some other stuff)

it really is!! Thinking of a character for ages and finally managing to draw them how you imagine them is such an amazing feeling!! I make a bunch of random designs as well and just putting together the inspiration and the aesthetics of the character to make something new ane beautiful is just so fun!!

Well, the main constant thing about them is that Ros is mostly an anime nerd and she's been trying to get Darnell into too but alas...

Ros loves trying new things while Darnell is kinda complacent with things being the same but is also down to support her just to keep her happy. He doesn't want to drag her down and he loves seeing her excited for something.

I don't really have a whole about there son, but he's a very sweet 3 year old that loves to help like a big boy.

He also has a bit of a raspy voice despite being a toddler, but he's perfectly fine.

I don't really play a whole lot of games but I do enjoy playing Animal Crossing and Miitopia. They're just so fun and simple.

And yes, I love putting together character by using different designs together. heck yeah!! I think my love for pinups and stuff of the sort shines through a little in my art but i also take inspiration from 2d disney films, rankin bass and studio ghibli (as well as a few artists work that I adore).

aaaaaa!!!! Thank you so much !! I would post about them but im struggling with the harpy design (cant draw him exactly right) and i worry about being judged for my werewolf oc, ive drawn art of him including the stages of his transformation in his face and comparison art of him before and after. I honestly have a bunch of ocs like that, i have a fishman whos the leader of a city that is on like small island surrounded by water who falls in love with a deep sea explorer woman, a man who was transformed into a slime like creature due to an incident with a super hero and now p much protects his wife from the hero, and a monster thats a giant mass of eyes goo and tentacles that lives in an old abandoned house and uses a small bit of himself to make a human form he can look through and explore the world and his human form works at a office to fit in and he falls in love with a coworker (these are all very short versions of their stories).

I would love to but there's so many AUs I have of them that I don't really know anymore HDKSHSKS 😭

But one thing for sure is that they're both huge dorks... and they have a child together.

i forget i have ocs sometimes honestly then i look at toyhouse and i question why didn't i upload them then i just forget to do! (I just say i have a small brain, im very forgetful)

the fact that they are both musical people is so heckin lovley and cute!! I adore lil details like that so much it shows how much love and care is put into them!!

ooo!! Time period aesthetics are awesome!! 50s-80s is such a fun range!!! (I'm a fan of 50s pinup art and grease and 50s fashion. I'm also a fan of 70s fashion, i also adore 80s cartoons, strawberry shortcake carebears, mlp and the dnd cartoon. Do you have any fav shows from the time?)

omgosh i adore his centaur form is so cool looking (he looks so fluffy and huggable and that size difference is amazing also I adore the way you draw faces and expressions i also love how you draw monsters so much, the face there with the cute dangit is so lovely detailed and looks so cool!!)

Of course it is!! My werewolf oc, he use to be a preppy rich university guy who was raised p much to see everyone is beneath him and that he owns whatever he wants, he ends up having a crush on a local baker and he doesn't know how to approach her because of how he was raised (in his head he calls her my darling) he is also touch starved. On his 24th birthday, he started transforming (it was a family curse the skipped generations any family member who got it was seen as not pure) his family pushed him out because he was no longer perfect in their eyes. He ended up running in fear too scared for anyone to see him like that. The baker found him in an alleyway near the bakery he was halfway through the transformation and she quickly took him in and tried her best to care for him as he fully trans forms his speech has become very simple not use to how the transformation changed how his body works. He also loves baked good so he goes from twig to teddy bear (Sorry it's a lot).

the harpy is the leader of a huge flock of harpies that protect a forest near a small village, they hate humans, they will scare away and attack any that approach the forest or try cutting down the trees. The leader is very gruff and intimidating. He's the largest out of the harpies and has multiple scars from fights. One of his flock gets injured and is taken care of by a farmer (my love for stardew showing) and comes back and he is told of the kind farmer so he goes to investigate but also warn them to not go near or in the forest (a kindness for a kindness) but as soon as he sees the farmer he falls in love at first sight and tries his best to stay stoic but he cant help staring awkwardly at the farmer. He cant help but keep thinking of her once he leaves and he starts collecting shiny objects to give her.
