FLOWERS: Flowers are perfect with 4 petals, 3-4 stamens, and 1 style.

FRUIT: Fruits are greenish and bumpy.

LEAVES: Leaves are opposite and alternately veined.

MEDICINAL USES: Used to cure an assortment of problems from sprains to sores, diarrhea, and used as a cleanser.

have you ever seen the noni fruit?  the morinda citrifolia is actually in the coffee family.  i love nature's surprises and how she keeps us on our toes.

i've never seen the noni tree before and have only encountered noni in juice form.  i tried it once and don't think i'd drink it again.  there are very few fruits/vegetables/foods i do not like and this happens to be one of them. however, the ancient polynesians called the noni a tree of life. many ancient traditions use the tree's various parts for medicinal and artisinal purposes.

the noni fruit attracts weaver ants, and this fruit is full of them.
