me rambling about shirts with the tone of a 39 year old blogging about their day bc i didn't have any tumblr-y jokes to make and i just really enjoy these shirts
finally caved and got sleep shirts bc normally i just collect my old comfy shirts and those t shirts you get from events but i keep having to do laundry early bc i'm running out of clean sleep shirts specifically. i do the laundry and it's like 90% sleep shirt bc i'm inside more than outside. and i haven't been going to enough events with tshirts and none of my day shirts from the past 4-5 years have reached sleep shirt status. so i finally just actually got fresh shirts. it was fun bc i'm really picky about day shirts but this time i could just go "yeah i like the colors. it's soft. it's cheap. perfect sleep shirt quality". like one of them has a car on it. i hate cars. but the colors were nice and i'm gonna be unconscious when i wear it so.
i also didn't need to stress about getting the size right bc it was just a t shirt and those are basically a square that's meant to be non form fitting. and i just went with the bigger end of the size that usually fits me (i span between like three sizes depending on the store and brand and i also am picky with sizes bc autism. also stores like to make the shoulder part of t shirts fitted in the women's section for some fucking reason). but basically as long as the shirt is lose and the shoulders aren't tight it works.
anyways they're just a couple low quality shirts with pretty colors that don't need to be high quality because i will wear that shit until i die. and it doesn't matter if my tastes change bc sleep shirts by default are not meant to fit my taste. my oldest sleep shirt is over a decade old. it might be old enough to drive😭. (and it looks like it too by god. i might try to sew it up a little bc it's sentimental. and super comfy)
these are just fun bc i picked them out so there's some extra dopamine. they're so pretty !!!!!!!!!
i just really love a good purchase. i was raised frugal so i always love spending money on something that i know i'll get my moneys worth out of and more. especially when it was cheap to begin with. i hate how companies sell things that are gonna break within days/weeks but i love when i know i'm gonna make it last forever
