Hello - I’ve silently enjoyed your blog for a while, and would be grateful for a one-card reading. (I hope I’m submitting this the right way and apologize if I’ve done it wrong - I’m on mobile and don’t often use this feature). I offer up my raw and aching widow’s heart. I offer up the many thousands of kisses and embraces that I can no longer give him. I ask for the skill to love and heal myself from this grief the way he loved and healed me. Many thanks 🙏🏼

firstly — thank you for your offerings, which cost you far dearer than gold. i’m so sorry for your loss, and my heart goes to you. i saw our lady of sorrows, eyes cast heavenwards and spilling ink-black poison from her lips; a heart submerged in liquid gold; lips chewed on from worry until they bruise and bleed.

i drew two cards, exceptionally, since one fell out of the deck as i pulled the other and thus i felt their significance is intertwined. the king of wands and the ten of pentacles, to me, speak of continuing his legacy, bringing to the world the things he wished for, what he stood for, the way he wanted to be remembered — but also keeping his principles and his views close to your own heart, letting that love live on in your person. you are part of this legacy, and you shall see it flourish over time, as every grave eventually does when tended with love rather than watered only with tears.
