A Quick Note about Non-sexual relationships and why I love them.

I love having non-sexual relationships with those I care about. I love giving affection to those I'm close to. I love being at the stage with someone where I can give them a hug when they look like they could use one and a massage after a tense situation or a hard day. I love being able to walk hand in hand with a friend and to just enjoy the warmth of a simple touch filled with caring emotions. I just love knowing that I can lower my guard and they can lower theirs if they want to without the pressure of any sort of sexual expectation. Just being with somebody I can snuggle and whisper silly things to, who likes it when I brush my hands through their hair when they're sleepy. And kisses! Platonic kisses to let them know that they're wonderful and wanted and better than they think they are. To remind them that they are worth many things to many people without the pressure of a potential sexual encounter.
