New PC! Fresh Start!!
So I basically have a full new PC, Had a new motherboard and stuff installed and basically anything that wasnt on my SSD for Sims 4, along with literally everything else, Is Gone! (extra sad panda) My Saves, Mods, CC are all safe on the SSD but like, I have to start from scratch with getting PS, S4S, and all the other fun stuff I lost *sigh*. So that will take some dedicated time I’ll prolly do Tuesday or Wednesday and then get back to business as usual! See you simmers in about a Week!! :D
im in a bit of a mental health decline
im gonna try push out that CC this weekend and get back into game and set up a queue
Just like the gender update and the update that added more skintones, this pride update got lazy and poor execution. But hey, at the end of the day they’ll still get publicity and new players who want to support an “inclusive” game. I’m already seeing articles about how the sims is being more inclusive this pride month.
When the gender update dropped it was all over social media, and the player count went up, but there was literally no effort put into it, most hairs/clothing were literally unuseable, and a lot of them still are.
When the update with the skintones dropped, the exact same thing happend, they quickly added some skintones to the game but most of them were bugged tf out, which instantly got fixed by cc creators. Lots of people also had complaints about how the color of the new skintones were off.
Now they got this pride update ready to drop, where they added all these flags, including a straight ally flag which has a “heterosexual pride” base, but no lesbian flag in sight. And then when this issue was brought to one of the simgurus they made up some excuse about how they didn’t even know that there was a lesbian flag, but apparently they did know about all these other flags? Like, you couldn’t even be bothered to do the tiniest bit of research? Also they added gender neutral bathrooms, as if that’s not already a thing in the sims.
What I’m trying to say is, it’s a good thing that they’re being more inclusive, but the fact that they do it so lazily makes me question their intentions. It’s disrespectfull and comes across as using minority groups as a way to make more money/get more publicity.
whewww ok they’re finally doing a magic GP, this is all i ever wanted from ts4
The new EP looks great, but I’m wondering.. What’s the catch? There’s always a catch.
y’know how in the spongebob movie everyone from bikini bottom turned into mind controlled chumbucket fish, this strangerville gp is very that
i just know the whicked whims users are gonna have a field day with first person mode in ts4
