The Intention

As a current student of Full Sail University and a permanent student of life, I can only desire to be myself and be loved for doing so. I’ve always been a storyteller, but as I get closer to finishing school, my focus has narrowed into what I want to do for my career.

I want to create anime with my own studio. From the time I was a child, I’ve always loved anime almost as much as storytelling. I’ve recently figured out that anime is the medium through which I want my storytelling to be done. I’m aware that I can, of course, pitch scripts to studios and or television networks; and I’m certainly not opposed to doing this. However, this is too low of an aim for me. To fully express my ideas and emotions, I would practically NEED to have a studio of my own, or artists who can read my mind.

During my time at Full Sail University, I intend to gather as much information as possible to better suit me in my chosen path. From school and other forms of education, I intend to learn how to raise money efficiently and properly run a business and an animation studio. I also seek to learn how to keep a solid track on all my finances, especially if I decide to work without an accountant. This goes in tandem with me also wanting to be as independent as possible as a business. As I realize it’s unlikely for me to make a profit as a completely independent business right off the bat, I need to learn how to build good business relationships and know who to do business with.

When I learn the ins and outs of these concepts efficiently, I am certain that I’ll be successful in my pursuits.
