Stupid people will always disagree with me, but

Democracy is lame. An oligarchy made up of the most intelligent people is ideal. Reasonable people will make reasonable decisions, and the wants of the stupid will never be confused with the needs of the stupid.

Caveat: I would define a truly intelligent person as someone who knows that goodness and compassion are necessary qualities, and cruelty is borne of stupidity and ignorance.

There is no such thing as an evil genius - evil is the domain of a wasted intellect.
