I know I’m capable of doing this. I also know it’s incredibly hard. this being hard doesn’t mean I’ll give up. never.

Designed the album packaging for @montrealstars back in the fall of 2014. The cover photo is by the very talented @ghostdogs taken at Moonlight Rollerway in LA. Split vinyl was a pre-order special and a bit of a pain to produce but it looked amazing so that's all that matters. #youarestars #nooneislost #vinyl #starsmontreal

Stars at The Fillmore 3/5/15
Stars is out on tour in support of their latest album No One is Lost so I was able to plan a quick jaunt to SF to see them. The set list in all its glory…
Stars The Fillmore San Francisco, CA 3/5/15 From The Night Ageless Beauty We Don’t Want Your Body Turn It Up Backlines You Keep Coming Up A Song is a Weapon Last Time Hold On When You Get Love and Let Go When You Give It Look Away Dead Hearts Trap Door One More Night Elevator Love Letter Take Me to the Riot Your Ex-Lover Is Dead No One is Lost
Encore: Midnight Coward What Is To Be Done?
Before the show, Torq had tweeted that the Fillmore was his favorite place in the world to play a show. It’s always good when an artist professes their love for the city and venue they are playing…you kinda expect that the show will just be great. Not like I’ve ever been to a bad Stars show, but it’s easy to get geeked up along with the band. The set list was the typical mix of old and new, and the crowd danced and sang along the way. Torq was pretty talkative and again professed his love by saying, “This is the greatest room in the world.” And when we hit the last few songs of the main set, starting with “One More Night”, pretty much everyone went nuts. The “Elevator Love Letter” sing-a-long was one for the ages…Amy told us, “This is your song so I’ll let you sing it.” During the encore, Torq sent out more love to the crowd and expressed his appreciation for us being there for the band for 15 years. He also spoke of “supporting each other” and wanting to “scream for you like you scream for us.” A love fest all around.
