I don‘t know how to start and first of all my English is crap because I just read and listen to English stuff and don‘t speak it in my everyday life (I’m from Germany) but with the recent „events“ in The Witcher/The Amazing Devil fandom (for example *cough* @joeybateyofficial joining Tumblr) I felt the need to express my feelings (omg that sounds dramatic 🙈), although I just reblog and like here normally:

I just wanted to say that I have never felt so happy in a fandom before. Seriously. Since December I am having the time of my life here. In most of the other fandoms I was before, there were at some point hate, toxic behavior and people who took themself and their opinions too serious. It didn‘t feel good anymore.

But in The Witcher/The Amazing Devil fandom I feel like I‘m in good hands. It‘s pure madness (in the most positive way), nearly no expectations towards anything or anyone, just interesting ideas, beautiful fanart and fanfiction and nice and gentle people.

I know that there will be always „problematic“ people, no matter in which fandom you are but based on my fandom experience it feels finally like „fandom home“, it feels like a „healthy“ relationship. I don‘t know how to describe it, I hope you understand what I mean. 🙈

So, to put it as briefly as I can: I love you all and I‘m looking forward the next months/years/whatever all this is leading to with you. You‘re amazing. 💚

Well; the person who chose "Godspeed" as their wotd has gotten' my brain to turn it's self off a couple of times. They're so irrevocably cynical & jaded. And all I can think of is the brunette i saw at the grocery store today saying "oh now you respect my reputation & intellect."

Had a clever hashtag but i forget it. Feels like something id claim dementia precrox over.

I don't have anyone to talk to...

Just wondering how long ill go without having a friend or any friends or a best friend. Hoping im not the only one who feels so lonely all the time. I don't even have people text me, not for anything really unless some stupid ass drug dealer is asking me if I wanna buy more weed all the time and I always say no cuz I get it from someone else. anyways that's the only type of conversation I have. no one really knows who I am and no one really tries to get to know who I am. NO ONE. I try not to think its because im a shitty person cuz im not. I like helping people and doing things for others makes me feel better as a person but I seem to always find myself alone. guess I better get really fuckin used to being alone now cuz its gonna be that way for a long time. no one finds there best friend when there 26, most people my age have had a best friend for fuckin years by the time there my age and im just sitting by my fuckin self all the time. don't get me wrong I do love my mom who does talk to me and makes sure that im ok and asks me how im doing but other than her and my husband, fuckin no one else. I wanna move out of my shit hole town no one here is even kind of close to who I am and no ones really made me want to stay here. full of racists and judgmental fuckers. and that's it.. I was gonna write this on paper and then toss it but I thought maybe someone out there feels how I do, maybe not but its worth a shot.

But i know that if i had a girlfriend i would be the kind of person that just goes "how's the most wonderful person on the world doing?" "Oh hi beutiful"and call her "sweetie" "darling", "honey" and i would hug her all the time and i'd just be the cheesiest person alive.

I'm just so sick of taking the time to open up to someone, getting to know them, listening to them, remembering little things about them, understanding their life, allowing them into my life, accepting their stupid flaws, making plans -- all for nothing. We'll just stop. We just give up. I'm so sick of that. I want that special connection with someone. I want someone who won't give up on me or get tired of me. I want someone to accept me like I accept them. But every time I think I find that, it goes right to shit. It just sucks because I'm so used to being alone already, and then I'll find someone who doesn't make me feel so alone. & then I get used to having that. & then it gets taken away from me. Then I'm back where I started. It's a vicious cycle and all I can do is hope for that distant day where the cycle finally ends.

I think that the idea of christianity and organized religion is kind of insulting to any mildly intelligent person. The idea that we as human beings require some end game or some motivation to have good morals and to be kind to others and the species around us is degrading. if you are so fucked in the head that you need to get something for you out of the kind things you do then you need to reevaluate yourself.  And im not saying that you should do nice things for some warm fuzzy feeling im saying that you should do nice things to do nice things. So you can sleep at night knowing youre not an asshole. Knowing you made an effort to be a good human today. That should be everyones motivation. Trying to be the best human you can be. Because in reality thats all you can strive for. Sure you can go for that high up the corporate ladder job but youre stepping on the heads of the people below you to get there. And that doesnt sound like kindness to me. Organized religion all seems to be just like corporate companies to me  do this to get this. What ever happened to do this because you feel its right. Because you can sleep at night going over the thoughts in your head and not hate yourself for the things youve done    thats what I want. Not to be remembered a certain way or make some huge impact. I want to be on my deathbead knowing I was the best human being I could be.
