The Reason Why There's No Promos

Guys, I believe the reason that the reason there are no promos s that they want to keep everyone in suspense for whats going to happen (we know its going to be Supercorp canon and Dansen wedding lol). They did this on Black Lightning too for their final season and I have to say that it really kept me intrigued throughout the final season lol

Practice makes pointless

I played a bit at some game stores this week to get in some testing/practice for the PPTQ on Saturday. Tuesday I went 2-2, I lost to a blue/white control deck and got totally blown out by mono red. I also crushed a mono red deck and I beat some other deck I forgot about. I changed 4 cards in my deck, and a few in my sideboard since winning game day and just kind of did ok with it, not good by any means. 

I also played at FNM this week and went 0-3, what a disaster. Game 1 was the Abzan mirror match, it was dumb and my opponent as not playing very fast, I almost had game 1 but then I drew 7 lands in a row and he stabalized. Game 2, I had my opponent down to 2 life at one point but he gained like 30 life and got an ajani emblem and I knew there was no chance at completing the game in time so I just scooped. 

Match 2 I lost to a zombie deck. Postboard I had 4x Drown In Sorrow and 4x Bile Blight. I should have crushed that deck but I never hit double black and lost.  Match 3 I played against a “legendary trial” Hero’s Blade deck. I had a lot of mana problems including mulling to 5 and playing an entire match with a single urborg. It really bummed me out to lose to that deck as I had been thinking about making that deck for fun and here I was getting crushed by it at FNM.

Having a night of testing ending in never drawing lands was super frustrating and I am not really looking forward to playing at the PPTQ tomorrow. I changed 4 more cards in my deck. Maybe it will be slightly more resilient to mana problems.
