Test area: 20km on the solid tires in varying terrain (concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel and dirt). Observations: - Very tough to install, nearly impossible to true. - Feel great in the rain. - Sluggish and soft in the heat compared to standard tires. - Confidence building, flats aren't even a thought. - Add a bit of weight. Conclusions: Love not having to worry about flats, but I'm disappointed with having extra work when the tires get hot. All in all, I'd recommend them for places where flats are common, but I'm not sold on them as a complete replacement for regular tires with tubes. #fixie #exercise #cycling #bicycle #solidtires #nopuncture #review (at Mae Sot)
