Malik glanced up from the cereal aisle, his eyes locking with Nora's across the crowded grocery store. Recognition flickered in her gaze as she approached, a polite smile gracing her lips. Malik swallowed hard, knowing that this encounter would inevitably lead to a conversation he had been dreading.
"Nora, right?" Malik said, offering a tentative smile in return as they drew closer. "I'm Malik, we haven't officially met, but I know you from photos."
