Five friends have been playing tag one month a year....for like THIRTY years. Can I get a group of friends/people to do this with? (all my friend/groups are so fragmented) From the first scene to the end, this one was consistantly funny. The cast helped with that (even though at first Hamm and Renner seemed sort of out of place with the other three, but it worked) both the guys playing tag and the female characters, they were all able to be funny when needed (like the majority of the film) and could bring the seriousness when needed (like wholy shit #LeslieBibb - that devious prank!). The scenes of them together (with or without #JeremyRenner or Lou, or in the basement (the War Room, that set, props, the sense of nostalgia - damn!) or not) were good. The costumes Helms wore (or any other character wore in service of a tag or in a flashback) were hilarious, but watching Hoagie’s mom flirting with Chili was a bit weird. Jerry’s inner narration of what’s happening during a tag attempt, or seeing from another member’s perspective was interesting and/or humorous. Lou wanting in on the game - aww (conversely - Anna not being allowed in because she gets too intense 😆 - nicely done casting w/#IslaFisher on that one) also, the ammendents to the original game agreement all cobbled together - 😂 YUS. The prank that Jerry and Susan play was fuckin evil - I was kind of skeptical the whole time, they nailed it though. It was interesting that they made the reporter a woman (the original was a man), if the movie was longer or something, was she supposed to be love interest for Bob?
