The governments
In the Confederation of Nihongo, there are two levels of government: the provincial government and the federal government. The federal government only ensures the cooperation between the provinces. It does not decide of anything but the adding of a province and the building of interprovincial infrastructures ( trains, bridges, roads...). It is also in charge of the universities to ensure that every provinces has the same level of education. It is limited to a single territory, Union Island, which is not considered a part of any province. Nobody but the members of the federal Assembly can live on the Island, making it a neutral playground for every provinces.
The parliament of Nihongo. Each windows of stained glass represent the biomes of the two founding provinces: Djansk during the day (left) and Husta during the night (right).
The Assembly of Nihongo, where the delegations from all the provinces discuss the future of the Confederation. On the wall you can see all the fundamental laws of Nihongo (official languages, security, rights and duties...).
The official map of Nihongo, in the hall of the Parliament.
Every province has its own government. All the provinces have a democratic government that works hands in hands with a Queen, King or Jaarl (every province was a kingdom before the Confederation) Djansk

The First House, the oldest building in all Nihongo. It is traditionally the residency of the Queen

I also wanted to show you the buildings housing the government of Takamagahara, since it had the same system than the provinces of Nihongo.

The lower room, where everyone in the country can come to discuss concerns or ideas with the members of the Assembly.

Heffensheim, the Cold Lands
West of the Confederation lies a land of ice and magic. I called it Heffensheim. It is a very vast territory with a very few villages. I tried to give this land a sense of the Norde architecture. I got my inspiration from Skyrim, of course. Here is the main and first village of Heffensheim, it’s called it Vahaus. As you can see down below, you can find a few houses with different functionalities: magic store, inn, bakery... On the two hills are:
-First the castle of kings, which is actually a tall tower
-Second, a “college” of magic. Really it is simply a place where wizards can gather. Other villages are found on the land and a castle (inspired by Minas Tirith) is guarding the land entry to the kingdom on the border of the Confederation (With which at one point, Heffensheim was at war).
It’s all for now friendz!
