I find it very poetic and somehow fitting. Nordia spends most of her journey to Baldur's Gate discovering things she's never seen before: trying new food, admiring new places, getting to know different kinds of people... always with an open mind.

She wouldn't consider a creature good or bad based on prior knowledge, just on how they actually act in front of her.
