Sitting here in a pair of Levi’s cut off shorts, staring out on the city. It is a lovely morning. There isn’t a dark cloud in the sky and the people are all milling about, like little ants taking their prize back to the nest. I hate being one of those ants. Out in the world mindlessly moving from one place to the next. A path that is so clear but blocked by so many obstacles. I can’t help but get a feeling of dread whenever I think about going to work, or going outside for that matter. I keep thinking to myself “what is it all for” why “must” I do this. There are clear reasons why two that I can think of One: I like to have food Two: I like to have a fridge to put the food in. Of course you need a place to plug in the fridge and hopefully protect it from the elements, could you imagine a fridge just plugged in on the street? Would you open it? If this fridge were the only door for you to open each day, knowing there would be something to satiate your appetite for the day, would you do it? Would you eat the delicious bounty that lie within? Take it back to the day a sunny beautiful day and just remember that every morning you wake up, it is like the light of the refrigerator door opening. It is your job to take what is in the fridge and do what you will with it. I hope you eat your meal for today.
