Yesterday I've learned terrible news! Now the thief is stealing not only products, but also companies' trademarks! I'm shocked.
For 10 years I've been in this hobby, next year come April it will mark my 11th year. In all these years I've never once seen counterfeits as being anything remotely tempting, never thought it would amass to the problem we have of constantly telling people that buying counterfeits hurts the artists first and foremost, but it hurts the community as a whole as well. Counterfeits bleeds mistrust into everything it touches, it takes away creativity. It destroys the joy of the artists to want to continue sculpting these amazing dolls, dolls we would never have had the privilege to buy if it weren't for them.
I will always welcome people with open arms if they stop supporting theft, never buy another counterfeit again, take responsibility for their mistakes and own up to it instead of giving one bad excuse one after the other. I hope that people will stop resorting to theft when it comes to a luxury item you truly do not need, or find cheaper alternatives. Just because you don't have a doll made of resin doesn't mean you aren't welcome, plenty of BJD hobbyists collect and love other dolls beside resin just as much. I hope things will change somehow, I really do, I don't want to lose a major part of my life because people thought it was no big deal supporting a thief. Please do the right thing.
I really don't know what to say about crazy recast situation. We arrived at the melting point.I think that stealing the name and identity to someone is one of the cruelest things you could do.I really hope that all the artists who have worked to create something original will act legally against this abuse.Remember again that I support artists (it would be totally inconsistent do the opposite) and that I have never supported the policy of recast during my 13 years passed since the purchase of my first dreamed and beloved BJD. Maybe there are many more important issues in this world than the "Dolly Hobby", but everyone has the right to defend and protect their own passion. Because sometimes is these little things that support and save who loves them. Me too. Thank you artists. Thanks to anyone who supports my work. Thank you dear and special friends that share this passion with me. You all deserve a legit care and love. Keep fighting 💜
Zevi wig arrived! My wonderful wife braided their hair! Next up, saving up for their face up!
Took some doll photos, tried to do a cute shot with Towa. I'm still figuring out posing her.
Rem and Towa!
