Remember that your dolls are first and foremost to please you. That’s it, the entire purpose of the hobby. You only like Minifees, that’s fine! Every doll you own is each from a different company or artists, that’s fine too! If you like to sew, or you like to do face ups, or you like to make wigs, or make eyes, it’s all fine! Even if all you do is sit and dress and style your dolls that’s great too! All perfectly valid ways to be in the hobby. *mild hyperventilating* Must... Put...in...cure...tank... Can't.... string...yet... 😭😭😭😭😭 Printed on the new @mypeopoly phenom This is our first non test print on the machine and let me just say, I am absolutely floored. The print time was fast, the prints are gorgeous and the supports came off beautifully (no seriously, they just pop off. Best supports I've had in a long time) The resin is butter smooth, heavy & warm. I expect it to sand as well or better than the resin we're currently using in the Moai, needing high grit wet sanding only to achieve that super slick & smooth finish. Astaroth stands 40cm tall in her heels and being able to fit her entire part layout on one machine is an absolute time saver. While the phenom won't totally replace our two Moai, it will be our new work horse for objects taller than 150cm, or projects with lots of parts that need a fast turnaround time with nearly the same resolution as the Moai. You can do it. Choose legit. You can mod dolls, you can dye them, you can do hybrids, you can find cheap dolls, you can find great deals for “expensive” legit dolls if you do your research. You have to be patient, that’s the key.
