Drumming to Bon Jovi Drumming to a Bon Jovi cover: Dead or Alive. One of my favourites to drum to, from Bon Jovi. Has a great build up that I just love, as a drummer, to play. You can do some great cymbal rolls, that really bring this song to "boiling point!" Knowing not to overdo the drumming Put your heart and soul into a song That's one of the great things about being a drummer, you can really put your heart and soul into a song, but being careful not to spoil or overdo it! That's the crucial part. As a drummer, you need to know when to bring the excitement back a little. Bon Jovi music all has that element that I like. Midnight Cruise band asked me to fill in as a drummer for the gig. I jumped at the chance to play with them, because I knew all their music, was "my kind of music."
