I don't know about you guys, but I honestly think that Empire of Fantasy Geronimo is an entirely different Geronimo living in an entirely different dimension where the Guardian Of The Realm book never happened. It's the only way to explain all the retcons, I swear.

I know the origins book is coming soon to the english part of this fandom, and I know that the logic of how dreams work apply to this world, but seriously...

The plot just. Flew off all of a sudden with the introduction of the other two kingdoms.

I'm not saying the Empire is bad, or that the retcon is (entirely) bad, I actually like the lore expansion it did to their world! But with the way that the english KOF books are sorted, as well as the sudden change of pace with the story, well. It's very messy.

I would've been fine if they made it an entirely new series for it in english. But then again, if they were marketed as a series that was entirely different from KOF, there's a big chance they wouldn't be translated over to english due to the market. Same goes for the Imaginaria series. That's my running theory as to why they were all compiled into the Kingdom Of Fantasy series instead of being their own thing.

Sigh.

I guess if you need to know, I've been obsessed over Geronimo Stilton (The Character) ever since I was a lil nobody and didn't like reading books all that much. He's a Great Guy :) ... I don't really like simping for him though, I think it's a little weird, but it's just me. Everyone is allowed to have fun in their own way ^^

Yet another day to hate the Geronimo Stilton writers for dumbing down characters in the books regardless of series.

I love my supposed-to-be-smart character being attacked verbally by a bunch of other supposed-to-be-smart characters, and doing dumb things that they would honestly never do if they were actually competently written 🥰
