Commencement / Britechester (3)
Gri Kondo has made her family proud. She has been indispensable as a student counselor, and now is on her way to pursue her dream of social work just like her father, Emory.
Gri’s in no rush to move out of the house; she has plenty of her own space there. Plus, she wants to learn more from her father and spend time with her little brother Huey, who’s aging up soon. Her mom Akemi is secretly thrilled.
Autumn Sanchez was excited when she started university, but now that she’s gotten to study more, she can’t wait to start her real work. Not only has she gotten better at tarot, but she’ fallen in love with supernatural history and lore.
She’s also fallen more in love with Gri, as if that were possible.
She’s in no rush to leave home either; after all, she’s not sure what she wants to do for a career yet. Eldora is willing to mentor her and help her read and get clients, but she’s thinking of going into teaching - maybe even write some papers.
The Sanchez’s are a tightened bunch – her mother Teal didn’t want her to leave anyway. Her father Dusk has been embracing himself for her leaving, so he’s just breathing aside of relief for now. And her baby brother Ed? He’s ecstatic to have his big sisters with him again.
The best part? Autumn and Gri will be right down the street from each other. Just like always.
Will they get a place together one day? Without a doubt.
