Commencement / Foxbury (2)
Feng Recipient or not, Norma’s still Norma. she’s got the tools and contacts she needs to take care of her family, and create a good life for herself and her girlfriend Manami. She’s even secured a position with the Feng Conglomerate. She’ll be using part of her bonus to get a place with her girl, and the other half to help her parents Dusty & Teal pay for autumn‘s university expenses.
✏️ Pay of mind to baby Ed – he’s had a busy couple of days.
When it comes to careers, Manami is not doing too bad herself she’s gotten a column in a prominent queer digital magazine, and she is putting together her own website and lifestyle blog.
She and her girlfriend Norma have had the big talk - you know, moving in, marriage, future children (?), but there’s one issue that still needs to be dealt with. Speaking of which:
Seeing the look on his daughter‘s face, then seeing the girl she loves stand up for her more than he has… did it.
Lee told Manami she’s right – she shouldn’t have to make him comfortable just to live her life. Everything is not for him to understand; all he knows is he loves her and doesn’t wanna miss out. So he’ll respect her and her partner from this day on.
Lee has a lot of work to do - he never got over Manami’s mother leaving; as a result, he has been holding his breath for the day when his daughter will leave him too. What he didn’t realize was that he was pushing her out the door. But he’s going to take to Norma‘s dad on his offer; he’s managed to raise two daughters and keep them close - Lee’d very much like to learn how to do the same.
