I just had a thought that’s kind of obvious: is Norma Selner the only hunter with no combat abilities to speak of?
we know as a general rule non-combative hunters (supports & healers) typically have combat abilities a rank below their measured one (except Antoine the goat), but we don’t even know her rank. I would assume she’s an S-Rank, only because it would make sense for the Upgrader class to scale who can be upgraded based on ranks, like an A-Rank only being able to upgrade A-Ranks and below (but she’s the only one with the Upgrader class, so I could be completely wrong. I’m just spitballing tbh)
other than the issue of her rank, we don’t even know if that rule applies to her class at all. she could have S-Rank combat abilities and it’s just that the FBH doesn’t want to risk her and that’s why she doesn’t fight, or she could have no combat abilities at all
personally, I think the latter makes more sense. honestly though, the biggest issue I have is how an objectively cool and interesting character was pretty much only introduced to show how special Jin-Woo is, but that’s another topic.
