I just had a really funny thought on how ThoLenn would get together in my scavlenn au that goes something like this:

(for context, Lennart will occasionally give Bjorn a little forehead kiss if he’s gonna be gone for a while just to remind him he loves him.)

Lennart, walking through the living room: I’m going to town to run some errands

Thomas, sitting on the couch with Bjorn: alright cya later

Lennart, on his phone (probably texting Jong-In and/or Alicia), not paying attention: love you, bye

and then he gives them both a kiss on the forehead as he walks by. and they both turn to stare at him while he just. walks out. he gets one foot out the door before he stops and turns and stares at Thomas in horror

he tries to backtrack but Bjorn basically tells him to get his shit together and walks out to give them some privacy

and the next day they’re dating.

and no one except Laura notices for a long time because pretty much everyone thought they were saying already

having some scavlenn (scavenger lennnart) thoughts rn…

sometimes when he comes home with a migraine he’s so overstimulated that he doesn’t want any physical touch or affection (he and Thomas normally cuddle when they sleep after they start dating) but in the middle of the night they always end up gravitating towards each other anyway

Laura and Lennart have inside jokes that they purposely exclude Thomas from because they know it bothers him (Lennart feels slightly bad. Laura does not.)

sometimes Thomas forgets that Lennart has actually made friends in the Guild besides him and Laura because they’re almost always together

uhh to name a few: the Raid Team Leader of the first team he was put on before he ended up in Thomas’s party, a fellow Hwang Dongsoo hater, a few of the healers (whom he became well acquainted with after a dungeon break where he pushed himself too hard trying to protect escaping civilians), and one of the other hunters who fights with gauntlets (whom he spars with on occasion)

not long after Lennart & Bjorn move in with Thomas he starts helping Lennart with Bjorn’s training

Thomas hates their father. with a burning passion, actually. he brings up wanting to personally murder the guy on multiple occasions, many of which were actually the guy’s birthday (which is what made him a subject of conversation to begin with)

Laura also does not like their father—not to the point of personally murdering him, but enough that she’s willing to turn a blind eye if Thomas decides to take a sudden trip to Germany

Thomas once took Bjorn on a fishing trip without Lennart and it actually turned out to be their like second biggest bonding moment

he was supposed to be working but he managed to slip out and stop by his house, only to run into Bjorn who was skipping school. they made a deal that Bjorn could come with as long as he didn’t snitch (because they both knew Lennart wouldn’t be as upset with him for skipping school as he would be at Thomas for ditching work)

Lennart found them anyway, but surprisingly he didn’t get angry and instead joined them for a while

on that note, Thomas was one of the few people Lennart allowed to meet Bjorn when they first came to America, and he became a pretty constant presence in young Bjorn’s life because of how much he hung around Lennart

sometimes Thomas would buy Bjorn snacks in hopes of garnering favor with him so he could in turn garner favor with Lennart. he does actually grow to be fond of Bjorn himself though

the timeline looks something like this (with the arrows representing various gaps in time):

Lennart & Bjorn come to America + Lennart joins the Scavenger Guild -> Lennart gets shuffled around teams for a while before joining Thomas’s -> Lennart beats the shit out of Hwang Dongsoo -> Lennart & Thomas start sharing an office -> Thomas garners favor with Bjorn -> the “Prevention and Compensation Pay for Damage of Public Property” budget is established -> Lennart & Jong-In meet at one of IGCs -> Lennart & Bjorn move in with Thomas -> fishing trip -> Lennart & Alicia meet at the next IGC -> Evaporation Incident Investigation -> Lennart saves Meri -> Lennart becomes the Guild’s new Vice Guildmaster -> Thomas & Jin-Woo fight -> Thomas & Lennart go to Korea + the fight with Rakan -> ThoLenn finally get together

I’m just now realizing how many ocs I’m gonna have to make for my scavenger lennart au… cuz in the og solo leveling there’s only like. 3? and I haven’t read ragnarok yet so I don’t wanna use the ones from there…. so oc making time it is

some more mage trio platonic soulmates stuff I forgot to mention:

their dreamscape’s temperature fluctuates depending on who’s there

the lighting is typically pretty dim to accommodate Lennart’s light sensitivity

if it wasn’t obvious already, the space naturally changes to make them the most comfortable at all times

they can change into any outfit they want in the dream as long as they can imagine it. Jong-In uses this to his advantage all the time

^ he has also used this feature to put on a fashion show between the three of them on multiple occasions

when Alicia first came to the dreamscape and mostly used it to train without the fear of hurting anyone

it took her a long time before she actually opened up to the other two after that first night, but they both tried to be patient with her

Jong-In’s powers don’t work.

for a long time, Alicia’s didn’t either.

occasionally, when one of them is dreaming normally, things from their dreams appear in the dreamscape (this can also happen with nightmares, but they are generally gone within a few minutes as the dreamscape naturally gets rid of anything that causes them fear)

when they aren’t there, their “bodies” are, just asleep. when any of them are still awake (because of time zone differences or whatever else) the other(s) will usually wait around by their sleeping body

the general appearance shifts naturally, but it combines elements from all of their homes (and a little bit from their respective Guild’s headquarters because they’re all there quite often)

some of their personal effects can be found about the space as well, such as Lennart’s pocket watch or Jong-In’s lighter (which doesn’t actually work within the space)

was thinking abt how jin-woo and jong-in as a duo is aesthetically incredibly funny. emo who wears black hoodies all the time & diva who dresses in pink and red to match his hair. guy with an increasingly large inventory of various weapons to use on a whim and guy who just flashes you with his glasses and ten million rings. and then i had the thought that they'd be perfect for the "wait i forgot my color trend". so uhhh

so I had a thought. I’ve made a post before about how difficult it would be for some S-Ranks (specifically Yoonho & Thomas) to go anywhere without being caught but hear me out. could they go to a hunter cosplay convention and pretend to cosplay themselves.

mage trio in my Shadow Disease AU

Lennart dies first. then it’s Alicia, then Jong-In.

Lennart is last among the German S-Ranks to die, but globally he falls somewhere in the middle-end. when the disease first became public, he focused most of his attention on getting the Richter Guild’s affairs in order so that they could have a smooth transition between Guildmasters. besides that, he also went on far more raids than he typically would to cover for Germany and the surrounding countries lack of manpower in many areas, which is assumed to have contributed to his death

Alicia actually started dying before Lennart, but because of Antoine, she and Emma managed to outlive him by a week or two. before her death she also began setting up for Elena to take over the Justitia Guild, but she failed to account for her breakdown following her death (Elena had been in denial before she actually died so she wasn’t ready for it when it happened)

Jong-In is the third of the South Korean S-Ranks to die, but as a whole he is one of the last few because being in proximity to Jin-Woo kept the country’s S-Ranks alive longer (in order its Dongwook, Tae-Gyu, Jong-In, then Yoon-Ho). like the other two, he also took the time to prepare the Hunters Guild, which is when he designated Kihoon to take over because at the time they did not know that Hae-In would survive

shadow disease au designs part 5: Alicia Blanche

unfortunately she has no official armor design to speak of so I kinda just made stuff up. I wanted to make her looks a bit like an ice elf so I did take some inspiration from Baruka for this one

Bringing this back because this conversation implies that Jongin and Yoonho are competitive and bet against each other a lot. And that Jongin can't shut up about Yoonho for longer than two seconds. Anyone else notice that? Yoonho thinks a lot about Jongin while Jongin talks a lot about Yoonho. Very cute

I imagine their bets revolve around who has to do household chores and such. Or what time Jongin has to be home by. Or Yoonho. Yoonho was also shown to be at the guild late right before the Jeju raid like Jongin in the anime. The parallels, people, the parallels-

yk I don’t really talk about this much but I am a multishipper so here’s some platonic pairings/romantic ships outside my main ones that I think are fun in no particular order:

JongJin (Jong-In/Jin-Woo) — I saw something about how they’ve both suffered from being hunters but on opposite sides of the spectrum and that really spoke to me. I also just think they would be good for each other. I think Jin-Woo needs someone who can ground his to his humanity post-canon (and I feel like Jong-In could do that by offering a new perspective) and I think Jong-In needs someone who can help him relax (*cough* feel safe *cough*) and I think they both could fulfill those needs (which of course works both platonically and romantically). but I also think they would hate each other at first. it would be a very rocky road to get them to be friends/partners

ZhiLenn (Zhigang/Lennart) — I have made a post before about how I think they would make great friends and that still stands, but I also just think they would be kinda cute together. they’re already trauma bonded with their family situations and constant guilt they just don’t know it yet

SeoLenn (Seorin/Lennart) — I’ve talked about this one before but I figured I would include it anyway. qpr rep bullshit go

JongHoon (Jong-In/Ki-Hoon) — this one isn’t exactly a ship because I see it as more of a one-sided crush on Ki-Hoon’s part but I think they’d be kinda cute in a weird way

LennRich (Lennart/Friedrich) — for anyone who doesn’t know because I haven’t mentioned it in a while, Friedrich Brandt is the name I gave Lennart’s vice guildmaster since he was never named in canon. I see them being very close in canon since Lennart value’s camaraderie so I can imagine how this might work out as a sort of bromance

JongJun (Jong-In/Shin Junseo from one of my Weapon Creator AUs) — this one is probably the weirdest one on here, especially because not only is he from another series but it’s the version of him from an au I made and until now have shared with no one. it’s a role swap au where Junseo becomes a guildmaster, and because of how reliable he is I felt like he would have a public persona that he uses to keep up his reputation for the guild’s sake, and this is related to Jong-In because I based AU Junseo’s outfit around his. I just think it would be funny for them to meet lol

Thomas/Laura (idk how to combine their names tbh) — there’s just something about this one. like I don’t quite ship it but I fully understand everyone who does and I think it’s cute. they make a lot of sense together. ig it’s more like passive shipping maybe? like I still prefer tholenn and I don’t actively seek this out but I would still enjoy seeing it

JongLenn (Jong-In/Lennart) — if you’ve seen any of my mage trio posts yk I prefer them platonically, but I could also see them being romantic in some way. they’re just like. weirdly similar in some aspects. obviously I think they would get along great though. there’s probably some universe somewhere where they did date for a bit and stayed friends after they broke up cuz they would try at least

ZhiJong (Zhigang/Jong-In) — this one is literally just because they’re both fire dragon guys. obviously they should be friends but like imagine. “I think my dragon likes your dragon” “I think mine does too” and then they set up a date for the dragons and so on

JongTopher (Jong-In/Christopher) — this is the dumbest name I could’ve come up with but it’s funny so wtv. this is purely because they’re both top tier fire mages and I think they could have a good rivalry in a way. Jong-In would try to fix Chris’s wardrobe for sure. I do feel like they wouldn’t be friends or dating but like a Secret Third Thing where they kinda hate each other affectionately and understand each other better than most

ThoZhi (Thomas/Zhigang) — in my mind they’re exes but they’re in some kind of grey area between being unable to stand each other and enjoying each other’s company because they like to fight each other plus they’re each other’s only equal. they can get along but barely. I do think there’s probably a universe somewhere where they’re friends as well, but I can’t imagine a romantic relationship working out between them lol

LennWoo / JinLenn (Lennart/Jin-Woo) — I actually quite liked their interactions in arise. I feel like out of everyone in the Evaporation Incident Gang, Jin-Woo was the closest with Lennart, but maybe that’s just me reading into it too much. they can obviously both relate to taking care of a younger sibling and sacrificing a lot for them, and I think they would be good for each other in a way. I could see them working out romantically but personally I see them more as very close friends with like some weird special connection because they’re both well-liked by each other’s family to the point that they basically are family (side note, I have a hc that after the end of the hidden chapter Lennart & Meilin stayed with Jin-Woo and his family because they got spawned into Korea lol)

Hae-In/Kanae (haenae….?) — I think I have actually seen someone ship this? I think they’d have a lot of mutual respect for each other if they actually got the chance to talk. I feel like they could work out platonically or romantically, maybe start as friends first then slow burn into romance

MeiBora (Meilin/Bora) — I think they would be good friends. summoner x summoner and all that. maybe not necessarily romance but I do see the appeal in that given that they’re almost complete opposites in personality

Jiwoo/Jong-In — this one is very much one-sided because. Jong-In is just so gay. but I think Jiwoo would look up to him an abnormal amount if she ever found out that he also hates and fears his own power

in a weird situation where i kind of want to write a relationship study fic exploring a potential friendship btwn jong-in & jin-woo, but i also know myself and i know i would focus too much on jong-in and neglect jin-woo’s part of the writing. which wouldn’t make for a very good fic. so i suppose i’ll just talk about it here for now and maybe i’ll be convinced to do it

i think an interesting dynamic for them would be. how do i explain this. situationship vibes but it’s platonic and kind of strange. not exactly toxic, but something a little bitter nonetheless. i’ve said this before but i don’t think they’d like each other very much at first. jong-in thinks jin-woo is cold and flippant, jin-woo thinks jong-in is too flamboyant and self-assured. neither of them are these things, but they don’t know that about each other because jin-woo’s personality doesn’t come across to people he doesn’t know, and jong-in is extremely good at pretending like he’s a certain way when he really isn’t. they just wouldn’t vibe very much.

what i do see for them is a connection that they can’t quite find in other people. i think they both uniquely know a certain, primal type of fear. they both know what it’s like to claw your way out of devastation. they’re opposites in many ways, which i think would end up drawing them together. guy who hates being in the spotlight and guy who excels at it. guy who has embraced his abilities and guy who still is learning how. i think they’d have plenty of reasons to envy each other, hence the bitterness. for jong-in, it’s the: if only i could grow stronger, maybe i could control my powers better, maybe i wouldn’t have to be so afraid. for jin-woo, it’s the: i wonder how he smiles all the time, i wish i could’ve awakened as s-rank like him so i wouldn’t have had to suffer at the bottom. of course neither of those are entirely accurate, but in order for them to know that they’d have to talk about their emotions and neither of them are good at that

idk. maybe i’m stretching a little, considering jin-woo doesn’t seem to care much about the majority of the other korean s-ranks, but if i constrained myself to “people jin-woo canonically has more than three important conversations with” i’d be stuck in a pretty boring box. i think three hunters who’ve never interacted in canon are friends so. it’s not like i would let that stop me. if canon is going to give me so little im going to extrapolate. deal with it :/
