Being ordinary… Why would anyone want to read about me? It is a question I ask myself… one amongst many as I write snapshots from my daily life and memories from my past, as I share opinions and beliefs, the small adventures, the human fears… I can sort of understand the interest in the places I manage to visit, the old customs and stories of mysterious sites.

Normality isn't the solution. It's the cause. How can you justify destroying your personality to blend in with the flock? To base your very being on what's popular. Just goes to show how people are formed into this bland coloured parasite with shoes in society. Maybe we've just given up in thinking for ourselves all together and left everyone else to do it for us. For a price of course. We're far too busy for independent thought! Not enough hours in a day for that. How can I? Seems the future for us all is to work to death then sit on out retirement fund until we all kick the bucket. Throw it at pedestrians! Burn it in front of parliament. Don't care! The world turns but we never feel it. Until one day we look up,and that one spark has set the sky on fire. Otis.

i wish for a small group of travellers with delicate, painted, wagons, and big, gentle, shire, horses with ribbons plaited into their matted mane. with girls with bells round their ankles, boys with gypsy tans.. i want to run away with them and be free of the normal world..
