What do you see when you look at this garden? I mostly see a garden that is well loved. The island flower bed is weeded and the plants are healthy and are growing well. I mean look at this yellow phlomis in the center of the flower bed! I see a garden designed by a lay person who definitely put a lot of thought into it but it is not planned by a professional garden designer. I see a garden of someone who is putting money into it but is still gardening on a limited budget, like most if us do. I see a group of garden furniture that invites one to sit down and rest and take it all in. I see a garden of a normal size, not one that sits on acres. I see a mom and pop garden that has a similar cosy, warm, and homey feeling just like a mom and pop shop. I see a garden that is beautiful but not extraordinaire.
