Huginn & Muninn - thought & memory.
One of the versions of Companions Of Odin, No. 5 - made from my images and digital paint brush.
In Companions Of Odin, as is typical of any of my artwork, I use my own images, sometimes taken far away from each other geographically and in time. Initially each image is usually represented as how it originates, just a photographic representation, used to convey the beauty of nature and other species, to help raise awareness for animals and the earth. And later, they sometimes are drawn to each other to form a piece such as this. Here an old oak from Paynes Prairie represents the World Tree, a grackle becomes a raven, and wolf represents himself. May we each cherish the earth mother and her other inhabitants and show them the respect they deserve. Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead! Blessings & love.
