Bonobo Releases "The North Borders" Tour Package
Last week Bonobo announced a new live album, to be recorded on upcoming major city tour dates. The good news for you? Metro is one of those stops on September 19.
Bonobo, as Simon Green goes by, is an artist whose fifth studio album, 2013’s The North Borders, definitely hit a high note. The album shows his masterful work with cutting edge electronics, bass, and drums. The North Borders Tour has been on the road for over a year now, showing off the work ethic one of the pioneering figures in electronic music has. Over 140 shows, four continents, and 25 countries later, the time is finally right to start compiling all of that live material, in addition to what will be recorded on upcoming dates, into an incredible package. The release will also see a DVD of a performance at an ancient Roman coliseum in Croatia, London’s Roundhouse, and behind-the-scenes footage from shows in California. Head over to the official Bonobo site for more info on the live recording, live DVD, hardback book, vinyl, and digital copies. Tickets for Bonobo (DJ Set) at Metro on September 19 are available here.
