I'm usually one of those people who scoff at the concept of "Canada's Team" as the last one standing in the playoffs because honestly, no. We don't like each other.
THAT BEING SAID, we all need to sit down and realize that if the Habs get their butts whooped in the 3rd round, it embarrasses EVERY SINGLE team in the North Division, but if they go deep(er), then all of the other teams in the North are suddenly redeemed from their playoff failures.
So basically what I'm saying is shhh
Honestly, what’s funniest to me about the schedule for the North Division is that most teams are playing against each other three or four times in a row.
And then there’s the Calgary and Edmonton games. Spread throughout the season so that they don’t murder each other.

It is honestly stupid that the North division has to wait for the meaningless games to be over before the playoffs start, while the rest of the league will more or less be done their first rounds in that time

Flames and Canucks have tow more games in hand. Even though the playoffs have officially began in the United States, they can't start in Canada as the season doesn't officially end till Wednesday. Well done NHL. Could have scheduled and planned it better.
