some more spec bio! this was a quick drawing so its not the best reference but this is for the diamond death adder (scientific name tba). its from the genus Acanthophis - the death adders - and is found in Ohcea, the home to the genus in general. specifically, its found in North Ohcea. they're an endangered species, and like other death adders rather dangerous. i dont have an exact size yet, but i imagine they're usually around a couple feet long!

Domestic dogs by continent pt. 2

North Ohcea - primarily companion dogs, but lot's of working dogs too - western side working dogs are primarily guardian and herding, while eastern side is primarily military and police dogs - shelters better in the west, but are still crowded and often run down - pure-breds tend to be working dogs, most dogs are mutts - decent amount of diversity in mutts and strays, but not nearly as much as South Ohcea - lot's of strays, which are better taken care of in the west

East Ohcea - primarily working dogs - fair amount of strays; most non-working dogs strays - not the best animal welfare, but not the top worst - most working dogs herding and guardian dogs, followed by police/military dogs - hunting dogs mostly for sport - most native breeds related to farming, but not many native breeds - pretty much no dog shows; showers go to South Ohcea usually, especially the south-west

Quahechidi - many strays, but are mostly treated well and are taken care of by nuns and monks - strays tend to be fairly uniform/similar (tan and browns, short fur, folded and half folded ears, medium sized) with the exception of many hairless strays - multiple hairless breeds, adapted to the heat - most other native breeds are herding and guardian dogs - most working dogs are herding and guardian dogs, followed by hunting dogs - guardian dogs tend to be quite big and powerful - imports of outside dogs highly regulated by continent wide union

Nsithabu - good animal welfare - primarily companion dogs, with more working dogs in the north - working dogs in the north tend to be hunting dogs, whereas in the south they tend to be herding and guardian dogs - hunting dogs primarily sighthounds; many of the native breeds also sighthounds - not many native breeds - mostly mutts; decent amount of diversity but also lot's of uniformity, such as short fur due to heat

some prison uniforms in The Republic of North Ohcea (RNO)! while they can be short or long sleeved, they always come as yellow jumpsuits. men's hair are not allowed to be longer than their chins, and women's hair may only just reach their shoulders. on the back is identifying information; the first number (62) is the ID of the prison and the second number the ID of the inmate at that prison.

The Republic of North Ohcea's lower education system (for now)! i'll probably make another post outlining higher education; but since i want that to line up more with other nations, it'll probably take a bit longer to develop. this is also just the broadest outline; there's other details missing from here. transcription under the cut!

The RNO education system is split into lower education (our elementary and high school) and higher education (our post-secondary education). The lower education is mandatory ages 4 - 16, and in order to drop out before age 18 (age of graduation) the student must be employed in a minimum amount of hours. The lower education is divided such;

Foundation: ages 4 - 6

Primary: ages 7 - 11

Secondary: ages 12 - 17

Further divided into “lower” and “upper” secondary school
