We are all strapped right now. But if you can, please donate. There are so many animals displaced by the fires up and down the west coast right now and they need our help. #Repost @ifawglobal • • • • • • The #NorthComplexFire exploded in size this week, merging the Bear and North Fires across three counties in Northern California and burning 1,000 acres every 30 minutes. Already the fire has consumed over 253,000 acres—threatening people, their pets, and wildlife.⠀ ⠀ IFAW is on-the-ground, deploying at the invitation of our partner North Valley Animal Disaster Group to provide animal search and rescue, emergency sheltering, and emergency operations support for Butte County. ⠀ ⠀ Today, as we were leaving the fire grounds after conducting animal search and rescue for survivors, California firefighters flagged down our vehicle and pulled out four tiny kittens they had rescued.⠀ ⠀ Hot, exhausted, and in need of emergency care, we brought the kittens directly to a local veterinarian for assessment and treatment. Thank you to the California firefighters for saving these kittens! Photos: Julia Cumes #fireseason2020 #pleasehelp https://www.instagram.com/p/CFIK-Y7DHPY/?igshid=1hht4y0zblnn7
