Conversations to not have with your Mother at Work

Previously in the day my boss & I discussed corduroy. I stated I don't know anyone who wears corduroy anymore. He completely disagreed. I said maybe it's a northern style. It's usually not cold enough in North Carolina to even think about corduroy.

Me: Allie, do you know anyone who wears Corduroy anymore?

Allie(my sister): What do you mean?

Me: Do you know anyone who wears Corduroy? Just yes or no?

Allie: Yes, sure.

My Boss: Aha!

My mother: Danielle has no style. Do not ask her advice.

Really Mom? Really?

Lord help me to not invite my mother to the work place anymore. So many embarrassing stories. So many put-downs. She never skipped a beat. Bless that woman.

I love her. But I might smack her, lol.
