ROAST DUCK 🦆 // aud36 from Northlake BBQ, Bibra Lake. (Takeaway price is aud32) The best roast duck I’ve had in Perth so far - the duck meat is juicy and succulent. Uneven seasoning means some chopped pieces were too heavily-seasoned compared to the rest - something easily sorted out with more spoonfuls of rice. First time dining in and the amount of echo in the restaurant was a bit uncomfortable. Would recommend taking away instead on days that it is packed with people. Service wasn’t too great as the sambal kangkong vegetable dish never arrived even when we had finished our other savoury dishes - when we asked them to cancel the vegetable dish, they then insisted it was coming and that it’s supposed to be served last. What even?! 🙄😅 We stood our ground firmly and weren’t bullied into getting the vege dish - manager actually had the cheek to ask us to take away that vege dish (as I took away one whole roast duck too) and was pretty sulky that we wanted to cancel it.
